There is another boat ramp in the city in the Granbury Resort Conference Center right next to the City Beach Park, . Additional boat ramps are also maintained by the Brazos River Authority at Hunter Park, Thorp Spring, Rough Creek Park and DeCordova Bend Park.

The Granbury Resort Conference Center was built as a venue for conventions and trade shows, but also includes a lakeside boardwalk and a white-sand beach with open-air “tiki huts.”

Downtown Granbury Square

The Granbury Square is the first downtown square in Texas to be listed in the National Register of Historic Places. You will definitely feel the authentic Texas spirit and charm here, which is what Granbury is all about.

The Hood County Courthouse was awarded the 2013 President’s Award for Best Restoration by the Texas Downtown Association. This historic place is surrounded by Victorian-era buildings with more than 40 shops. The Granbury Opera House has also been restored, thanks to the help of the City of Granbury and other donors and was also the recipient of the TDA 2014 President’s Award for best renovation. The Granbury Opera House is the venue for amazing shows by the Granbury Theater Company, a must see for residents of Granbury homes and tourists alike.

Downtown Granbury Square is also the venue for festivals, concerts, and world-class entertainment all year-round.
