December 2017 Fort Worth Real Estate market report at a glance year over year.
Median prices up 9.5%. The driving force are in the entry level homes under $300,000. Affordability is starting to push an increasing percentage of first time buyers out of the market. As you can see 76% of the market is for homes under $300,000. I have noticed the luxury market activity increasing over the last 2 weeks.
Active listings up 12.5% which still keeps us at 1.6 months of inventory which is still a strong sellers market.
Mortgage rates have moved higher over the last couple weeks so 4 to 4.25% for a mortgage is the norm.
